The most reasonable suggestion I've found is to run a Windows 7 virtual machine, though I would prefer to avoid that route if possible. The device isn't recognized automatically, and I can't find any downloads for the drivers via Xilinx. However, I've come to an impasse when trying to get communication to the Spartan-3E. This EEVBlog forum post allowed me to successfully run the Design Suite and Impact: Has anyone had (a successful) experience getting this setup to work on Windows 10? I know there are a handful of obstacles regarding ISE 14.7's lack of support beyond Windows 7. I recently purchased a Spartan-3E from eBay, because it's the board my university uses for FPGA classes, and I wanted to get a headstart prior to taking the class next year.
